Interactive & game development

Game design, built with engineering.

The same rigor we bring to production Rails and APIs, pointed at the part of software people feel: motion, light, responsiveness, and game-grade frontends. These are real, playable builds — animation mechanics, in-game visual effects, and clean code you can read. Play them in your browser.

Gem Cascade

A mobile-first match-3 built to show off game feel: shader-drawn glossy jewels, particle bursts on every clear, springy swaps, bouncing gravity, cascade combos with screen shake, and special blast pieces. Every visual is generated in code and shaders — there isn't a single sprite asset.

How we approach interactive work

Game-grade frontends, the same discipline as the backend.

Motion & feel

Tween-driven animation, easing curves, particle systems and shader effects — the “juice” that makes an interface feel alive. The craft transfers directly to product UI that delights.

Readable engineering

Small, legible codebases with a clean core and clear separation of logic from presentation. Game state, input, and rendering stay decoupled — easy to extend, easy to review.

Ships & performs

Mobile-first, 60fps targets, resolution-independent rendering, and a real deploy story. These aren’t mockups — they’re live and playable, the same way our consulting work is live in production.
